I direct, produce, and edit films.
Over the past 2 decades as a filmmaker at CIY I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with nonprofits and multinational teams in 15 countries and 7 languages.
The opportunity to serve people and the story is what informs my process. For me, filmmaking is worship.
MY APPROACH
HOLY SPIRIT LED
Each project should be surrendered to and led by the Holy Spirit. We partner with local churches where the film is being produced to bolster prayer support and assess the spiritual needs of the community.
CULTURAL INTEGRITY
Cultural advisors are a key part of our team. We believe all people groups are created and loved by God. All cultures are beautiful and broken, and we seek to represent them faithfully. We do not gloss over difficult areas or avoid hard conversations.
ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE
Creative excellence is an act of worship. Beautiful art is beautiful because we were created in God's image and designed to partner with him. Excellent art can start conversation, move people to action, and point to our perfect Creator.
